To introduce the world to real adidas Women around the world, adidas selected Gin Lane to fully concept, design, and develop a new kind of interactive digital magazine; the #mygirls zine. In monthly “issues,” the zine explores the lives, tastes, and perspectives of active women around the world through real-time social media showcase, shoppable look-books, and interactive editorial stories.
The OC: Annual iPad app interactively showcases the work of iconic and emerging artists in original photography, film, audio, and games. Working closely with each artist, Gin Lane crafted a unique gesture-based experience for each one of the ANNUAL’s digital stories.
For Stella McCartney’s second fragrance; L.I.L.Y, we launched an 360º digital campaign that began in London. The initiative featured an interactive window display at Selfridges, a multi-platform augmented-reality application, and an HTML5-powered Facebook campaign.
We teamed up with our friends at Partners & Spade to bring a little interactive storytelling to J.Crew's personal shopping program; very Personal Stylist. Together, we shot all of the content in ultra-HD RED photography to bring each of the 12 stories to life with a set of playful interactions.
Gin Lane designed & built Saturday NYC’s eCommerce platform from the ground up in 2011, synchronizing their inventory management and point-of-sale systems with a custom CMS. In 2012, we redesigned the website to highlight Saturdays' exceptional brand of editorial content with a highly visual and tablet-optimized layout.
To enhance Everlane's Not a Shop pop-up experience in SoHo, we teamed up with our friends at PRH Advisors & The Principals, Gin Lane shot, designed, developed and installed an interactive iPad application in one week. The application invited users to explore and learn about the shop's select Everlane products.
For Macy’s grand re-opening, we partnered with the fashion brand to install and remotely manage massive panes of stunning floor-to-ceiling LED panels that flooded the floor with stunning campaign imagery.
Commissioned by AOL, Gin Lane created a suite of applications for Flash and iOS that allowed users to make simplified silhouette portraits in the signature style of one of America's most beloved portrait artists, Carter Kustera for multiple device scenarios. A simple and colorful website pulls the whole experience together, walking the user through the three simple steps of uploading, editing, and even ordering a framed print.
In creating renowned photographer Jason Nocito's portfolio site, we sought to create the simplest, most intuitive site for viewing collections and single images. The website site is fully responsive, perfectly showcasing Jason's incredible photography on every screen it's viewed on.
We rebranded and relaunched Stylelist.com, helping propel the site to ComScore’s #1 site for Beauty & Fashion and attracting 4 million unique visitors per month. We paired it with a one-of-a-kind interactive window installation for FNO at Saks Fifth Avenue.
